Kevin Pratte, President: Kevin Pratte has been enthusiasticallyinvolved in volleyball for over 26 years. 
Pratte started playing in middle school and was fortunate enough to play NCAA Division 1 volleyball at
The University of the Pacific.  After his playing career, Pratte got involved in coaching volleyball.  In 2009
Pratte was the graduate assistant coach for the University of Nebraska women’s volleyball program. 
Later in his career Pratte made coaching stops at University of the Pacific, multiple community colleges
and coached at WAVE Volleyball Club for seven years.  Currently Pratte is a physical education teacher in
the San Diego Unified School District.  Along with coaching, Pratte is a college volleyball recruiting
mentor/guide.  He has mentor/guided numerous athletes earn roster spots at multiple universities.  “I
am extremely passionate about volleyball.  I got into coaching and teaching because my parents instilled
in me at a young age to give back.  My parents and coaches helped shape my life through the sport of
volleyball.  I am grateful that my mom and good friend Brian Adamson are board members of The Kevin
Pratte Foundation.  We are on a mission to help raise funds to help high school boys all across our
country to help pay for club volleyball fees,” said Kevin Pratte

 

Brian Adamson, Board Member: Brian Adamsongrew up in Chicago, Illinois where he had a successful high school volleyball career and was recruited to play at The University of the Pacific.  At Pacific Adamson was a part of some of Pacific's best teams in program history.  In 2006, Adamson was the starting opposite and was rewarded All MPSF for his play on the floor.  After graduating with a business degree Adamson pursued a career as a CPA. Adamson currently resides in Austin, Texas where he works as a CFO of a group of Auto Dealerships.  Kevin Pratte and Adamson were teammates at Pacific.  After their playing career, they worked a few volleyball camps together and coached a successful WAVE boys' volleyball team.  That team included Camden Gianni, Troy Oliveira, Trevor Jurlina, Aryton Garcia-Jurado, and Colin Lovejoy. All those players went on to have impressive college volleyball careers.  "I have known Kevin for nearly 20 years.  We share a love of volleyball and sports.  Most importantly we are very good friends.  When I caught wind that Kevin was creating a foundation to help grow boys' volleyball and award athletes with scholarships I wanted to get involved," said Adamson.

 

Francie Pratte, Board Member: Francie McDonald Pratte lives in Imperial Beach, Ca. with her husband Bob. They raised two children Alexis and Kevin in Palm Springs and Hemet, California. Francie is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She practiced Critical Care Nursing at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, Ca. She was a therapist in private practice, in a hospital and school district. Francie is currently retired and learning Spanish. She loves to spend time with her family in San Diego and Oakland California. Francie loves to ski and paddleboard with her granddaughters Cecilia and Iris. She is happy to have the opportunity to be on the Kevin PratteFoundation Board. “Volleyball was a huge part of our lives. I love the idea of helping young men to be able to play club volleyball," said Francie Pratte.
